Additional Services Offered by Best-Aire

While Best-Aire can provide all the standard products and services that you may expect from a compressor services company such as air audits, maintenance, or being a provider of a variety of parts to fit your machinery. There are also some additional ways in which Best-Aire will be able to help your company that may not be known. The first of these is if when you are looking to purchase a compressor, blower or dryer you may not want a brand-new machine due to the cost. Best-Aire is not only a seller of new equipment, we also have a wide variety of used machinery that we have acquired that may work both for your company as well as your price range. On the other side of this would be if you are looking to potentially sell your equipment as you no longer have need for it, Best-Aire may be interesting in taking it off your hands.

Another service that is offered that is like the selling of used equipment is that Best-Aire does rental or lease purchase plans. No matter the reason, whether you wish to not pay full price upfront, or only need an air compressor for a certain period Best-Aire has the plan for you. Another service that we can offer with our rental option is emergency air compressor rentals if there is a problem at your facility and need to avoid as much downtime as possible. Usage of Best Aire in The Food and Beverage Industry

Usage of Best Aire in The Food and Beverage Industry

At Best Aire we know that air compressors are used in a wide range of industries that each require potentially different applications. One industry we will be focusing on today is the use of Air Compressors in the food and beverage industries. Air compressors are used in many steps of the manufacturing process such as food mixing, packaging movement, pumping fluids and air filtration. The most important of these is the air filtration stage. To create and keep food products sanitary you need to filter out the contaminated air, which why air compressors are important in this industry. Another important use for compressed air in the food and beverage industry is in the cleaning of machinery involved in the process. With food items they may need to be cut or changed in some way this can be messy so you use the compressor to clean out machinery so there is not any cross contamination. When you have an air compressor in the food and beverage industry they need to be held to as high safety and cleanliness as possible. This is due to any contamination or issues that occur in the air compressor lead to contamination that will lead to either products loss or potential customer liability issues down the road. At Best Aire all our compressors are compatible with the food and beverage industry and work with many companies to meet there needs in and specification for compressor and additional needs. Going beyond this we provide a variety of dryer packages that also work well with the food and beverage industry in meeting clients needs. For more information on how Best Aire can help meet your needs either in the food and beverage or else where feel free to contact us.

Positive Displacement Blowers - Conveying Solutions

There are several applications in which Industrial Blowers are a necessity within modern industries. One of the most common applications is for conveying materials from point A to B.

Blower conveying systems allow for a transfer of powders, granules, and other materials through an enclosed pipeline. The ability to transport these particles comes from a combination of pressure differential and the flow of a gas, such as air. These conveying systems are beneficial to any manufacturing plant that deals with a lot of product (or scrap) that need to be sent from one part of the factory to another.

Best Aire Compressor Services Inc has the Midwest Coverage with branches in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio to help better serve all your air compressor and blower needs.

2,000 Hour Air Compressor Maintenance Recommendation

Essentially, there are four service milestones that need to be completed on your air compressor:

  1.  Weekly
  2. Minor (2,000 hours)
  3. Interm (4,000 hours)
  4. Major (8,000 hours)
In this article, we are going to focus on the 2,000 hour service recommendation for your air compressor. With every service job done, you will want to make sure you incorporate in all service jobs that are less than the one you are performing. For example, when you do the 4,000 service job, you will want to also perform all tasks in the 2,000 service job, as well as the weekly.

So you will want to start performing all weekly tasks. Begin by checking all filters and oil levels. Additionally you will want to make sure you have a differential reading from sump to delivery pressure somewhere between 2 - 6 PSID. If the pressure is greater than 8 PSID then you might have a check valve that is not opening, a dirty separator, or you may have an issue with the transducer.

During the 2,000 Hour Service you will be want to submit an oil sample for testing, especially if your air compressor is presently under warranty. If your air compressor is running food grade oil, you will want to submit your sample every 1,000 hours. Upon your sample being processed, you will receive a report back stating your oil's TAN number, which is essentially indicates the oil life left. Additionally, if this is the first time the 2,000 Hour Service has been done, you will want to make sure all electrical connections are checked, as the heating and cooling of the wires may affect the tightness of the connections.
